Palm Sunday, April 13, 2025 – Worship at 11:00 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Please join us for coffee, cookies and fellowship following worship.
We will be returning to the sanctuary for worship on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025. The Easter worship service will be preceded by Easter brunch at 10 a.m. Plan to bring a breakfast casserole, fruit salad, or other breakfast/brunch foods to share.
The Craft Group welcomes all who want to work on a craft or just share in fellowship to join in on Wednesdays, 1-3 p.m., in the fellowship hall.
Five Week Lenten Bible Study will take a break next week (Holy Week) and NOT meet on Wednesday, April 16. They will next meet on Wednesday, April 23, for the final meeting. Be sure to keep an eye out for any changes to the meeting place/time for that last meeting. Final plans will be made today. If you miss any updates, please call the office (828-733-1939).

Our Lenten Global Mission Offering: For over 70 years, One Great Hour of Sharing has provided Presbyterians a way to share God’s love with our neighbors in need around the world. The three programs supported by One Great Hour of Sharing are the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, the Presbyterian Hunger Program, and the Self-Development of People program. Each works in a different way to serve individuals and communities in need. From initial disaster response to ongoing community development, their work fits together to provide people with safety, sustenance, and hope. This is an opportunity for us to spread Christ’s love around the globe and be a part of the universal Body of Christ. The Session has approved $2,000 from our mission budget to go towards this offering realizing the abundance our church family has already given to mission in the past six months.
Our Spring Women’s Gathering will be held at Charlotte Davila’s home on Thursday, April 24, 4-6 p.m. Parking is limited so please carpool if possible. Charlotte’s physical address is 7758 Parks Mountain Drive, Jonas Ridge. The gate will be open so you will not need the gate code.
There will be a grounds workday on Saturday, April 26 from 10:00 a.m. – 12 noon. Mulch will have been delivered and needs to be spread. Here is a great volunteer opportunity! Please bring any appropriate tools to use if you can. Contact John Kehoe for more information - (980) 297-0338
Our roof project is moving forward. The roof tiles have been delivered! George Riggsbee has created a display of the beautiful new roof files in the upper parking lot near the back door entrance. Take a look!
